Award-winning photographer, Ken Posney has carefully choreographed spectacular images throughout the Hawaiian Islands. In addition, he shoots authentic hula, portrait and landscape images capturing the true essence and culture of Hawai'i. "Poz" has established a reputation as one of the most creative and inspiring photographers of the Hawaiian Islands.
With a philosophy that looks beyond the traditional images of yesterday and today, he brings a new dimension to the future of photography.
Building a relationship with the client before he even begins to take their photographs, he develops an understanding of their unique rapports. With a keen understanding of the power of natural lighting, Posney uses the flash only to accent and dramatize.
After more than 25 years, Posney continues to come up with new ideas and creative ways of seeing the image. His work has been celebrated in local magazines such as, Essential Kaua'i and nationwide publications, Pacific Edge, Hawai'i Business and Islands magazine.
Located in a small town on the island of Kaua'i, Posney travels island-wide and to California to meet the demands of his clientele.
